Casting is announced today for Night of the Living Dead Live, the first ever UK stage adaptation and the only officially authorised production based on George A. Romero's cult zombie classic. The production, directed by Benji Sperring (The Toxic Avenger: The Musical; Shock Treatment, Valley Of Song) will come to life at Pleasance, London from 9 April to 19 May 2019.

Yesterday (5 October), at the launch event in London for Motown the Musical, Cedric Neal (Berry Gordy) and Lucy St. Louis (Diana Ross) were announced to lead the cast in the West End production, opening at the Shaftesbury Theatre in February 2016. London previews will begin on 11 February 2016, with press night on 8 March 2016, with the show booking to 22 October 2016.
The West End production of Motown the Musical, opening at the Shaftesbury Theatre in February next year, held open casting auditions in London today (7 July 2015). Almost 200 people attended and auditioned for the opportunity to portray the iconic artists of Motown in the musical.
Connecticut Repertory Theatre (CRT)'s upcoming production of LES MISERABLES, directed by Terrence Mann and starring Mann as Inspector Javert, a role he originated on Broadway and for which he received his first Tony Award-nomination, begins later this month. Performances of LES MISERABLES begin on May 28, 2015 and continue through June 7, 2015 at Connecticut Repertory Theatre's Harriet S. Jorgensen Theatre. When I was asked to interview a cast member of "MOTOWN THE MUSICAL" currently on tour, I chose Galen J. Williams. I had two reasons. The first is that I had previously seen him performing in a Broadway Dreams Foundation show in Los Angeles and found him to be a captivating performer. The second is that I am intrigued by the demands of a swing. So I called Galen and spoke with him about MOTOWN and swings and Broadway dreaming.
