Cygnet is thrilled to revisit one of its favorite musicals, Stephen Sondheim's A Little Night Music, which was a hit with critics and audiences in 2008. The Tony Award winning musical is considered one of Sondheim's most beloved works, and features stunning melodies including the popular 'Send in the Clowns'. Cygnet's production is directed by Sean Murray and runs Mar. 7 - Apr. 22. Opening night for media is Mar. 10.

Just in time for Valentine's Day, The Players Club of Swarthmore presents the botanical, sci-fi, musical comedy love story Little Shop of Horrors, Feb. 9-24, for 10 performances on the PCS Main Stage at 614 Fairview Ave., Swarthmore. Eddie Donlevie directs along with musical director Pat D'Amato and choreographer Emily Aaron Fishman.

Not only does 2017 mark Cygnet's 15th Season, it includes another significant milestone. A Christmas Carol will be the theatre's 100th production since it's founding in 2003. With a mix of macabre and howling funny dark humor, we meet Sweeney Todd, a barber seeking revenge, and Mrs. Lovett, the proprietress of the downstairs pie shop. Together, the two take their passions to harrowing heights and soon have the people of 19th century London lining up for meat pies!

CBS announced today that Maria Bello has joined the cast of NCIS as a series regular and will be introduced in the season's fourth episode. The 15th season of NCIS premieres Tuesday, Sept. 26 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT).

The full casts are today announced for English Touring Theatre, Royal & Derngate, Northampton and Rose Theatre Kingston's production of Sam Holcroft's Rules for Living and English Touring Theatre and Mercury Theatre Colchester's production of Conor McPherson's The Weir, twenty years after its world premiere at the Royal Court.

Billed as 'lovingly ripped off from the classic comedy film Monty Python and the Holy Grail', SPAMALOT is coming to Cygnet Theatre for a staged concert reading. For two nights only, audiences can enjoy an epic search for the Holy Grail all while supporting Cygnet Theatre Artists!

Cygnet Theatre will launch its 15th season with the musical comedy Animal Crackers, the hallmark of the Marx Brothers lunacy, based on the 1928 Broadway hit with book by Broadway masters George S. Kaufman and Morrie Ryskind.  The success of the play was followed by the film version (1930), which launched the brothers into film stardom, never again appearing on Broadway. The Marx Brothers are commonly thought to be among the greatest and most influential comedians of the 20th century.
