Cygnet Theatre Announces Season 19 Lineup

Cygnet Theatre is pleased to announce its full line up for 2022/2023 Season. The season kicks off with the World Premiere of the risqué comedic drama The Little Fellow (Or - The Queen of Tarts Tells All) by one of the nations top produced playwrights (2017-2020) Kate Hamill (Pride & Prejudice); directed by Associate Artistic Director Rob Lutfy. 

Cygnet Theatre Postpones NATASHA, PIERRE & THE GREAT COMET OF 1812

Cygnet Theatre announces the postponement of Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812 by Dave Malloy, which was scheduled as the theatre's last production of Season 18. The show was scheduled to run from July 13 – August 21, 2022 and will be moved to a future season which will be announced at a later date. The musical is adapted from War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy and takes place in Moscow during the 1812 French invasion of Russia. The change comes as a result of the intensifying Russia-Ukraine conflict.  

WATER BY THE SPOONFUL Comes to Cygnet Theatre This Month

Rehearsals have begun for Cygnet Theatre's production of Water by the Spoonful by Tony-winning playwright Quiara Alegría Hudes (In the Heights). This Pulitzer prize-winning drama about forgiveness, redemption and family is directed by Meg DeBoard and runs March 23 through April 24. Opening Night for media is Saturday, March 26.
