Australian harpist, vocalist and composer Tara Minton and her band perform music from her new suite inspired by a spiritual awakening in México City in 2023.
The musicians descend into a dark night of the soul - dancing with shadows through themes of desire, truth, self expression and fierce, defiant joy. Latin American music traditions, language and mythology are delicately woven into the tapestry of contemporary jazz, with the demonic and the divine locked in embrace throughout the album, ultimately revealing something deeply, beautifully human.
We have a laid-back attitude at Late Night Jazz at the Royal Albert Hall – customers are welcome to dance, move around, sing along, and enjoy themselves in whatever way feels most comfortable!
