Roundabout Theatre Company just celebrated the 15th anniversary of Roundabout Underground with the world premiere of the bandaged place by Harrison David Rivers, directed by David Mendizábal. BroadwayWorld was there for opening night and you can check out photos from the festivities.

the bandaged place begins preview performances on Friday, October 20, 2022, and opens officially on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at the Black Box Theatre in the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre. Check out rehearsal photos here!

Roundabout Theatre Company presents the New York premiere of Bobbie Clearly by Alex Lubischer, directed by Will Davis. This is the second play in Roundabout Underground's expanded two-play season, following Too Heavy for Your Pocket by Jireh Breon Holder this fall. Playwrights Horizons (Tim Sanford, Artistic Director; Leslie Marcus, Managing Director) presents the world premiere production of THIS FLAT EARTH, a new play by Lindsey Ferrentino (Ugly Lies the Bone, the current Amy and the Orphans). Directed by Tony Award winner Rebecca Taichman (Familiar, Stage Kiss, Milk Like Sugar at Playwrights; Indecent), the play is the fourth production of the theater company's 2017/2018 Season. Last night, Tony Award-winning playwright David Henry Hwang presented the 2017 Kesselring Prize to rising young playwright Lauren Yee at the National Arts Club. Ms. Yee earned the Kesselring for her play THE GREAT LEAP, to be produced this season by Denver Center, Seattle Rep and Atlantic Theater Company.

Roundabout Theatre Company presents the first new play of Roundabout Underground's expanded 2017-2018 season, the New York premiere of Too Heavy For Your Pocket by Jir h Breon Holder, directed by Margot Bordelon, and featuring Eboni Flowers (Evelyn Brandon), Hampton Fluker (Tony Carter), Brandon Gill (Bowzie Brandon) and Nneka Okafor (Sally-Mae Carter).
