Last night marked a shift change at Joe's Diner! Waitress just welcomed four new Broadway cast members at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre, including Grammy Award-winning singer and actress Jennifer Nettles as Jenna, Nik Dodani as Ogie, and former Waitress cast members Erich Bergen and Ben Thomspon as Dr. Pomatter and Earl respectively.

Waitress changed its iconic character uniforms from blue to pink on 18 October for Wear It Pink Day 2019 in support of the charity Breast Cancer Now. The waitresses - Lucie Jones as Jenna, Laura Baldwin as Dawn and Sandra Marvin as Becky – all took to the stage in special pink costumes for the evening performance at the Adelphi Theatre for the fundraising event. In total, £1260.75 was raised from collections at the theatre which will go towards funding breast cancer research and life-changing support. Cast members also went pink for the pre-show warm up and took on the 'Waitress Pie Challenge' after being nominated by their counterparts in the Broadway production to draw attention to and generate support for the cause.

Waitress celebrated the arrival of new cast member Joe Sugg, the YouTube star, filmmaker, author, vlogger and 2018 Strictly Come Dancing finalist, who has joined the West End musical in the role of Ogie. Special guests including Zoella, Alfie Deyes, Caspar Lee, Bryon Langley, Cinzia Baylis-Zullo, Sophia Tuxford, Elle Adams, Mark Ferris, Anna Maynard, Sean Elliott O'Connor and Mikey Pearce attended the smash hit musical comedy at the Adelphi Theatre to see Joe Sugg in his West End debut.

Jordin Sparks has officially 'opened up' her run in Waitress! She began performances on Monday, September 16th for a limited engagement through October 27.

Today, on April 24th, Waitress celebrates the third anniversary since officially opening on Broadway at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre in 2016. The Broadway company celebrated yesterday with a special cake by the show's own Pie Consultant, Stacy Donnelly of Cute as Cake.

Last night, August 23, Sara Bareilles joined Nicolette Robinson, Broadway's upcoming Jenna in Waitress, to host Cast Album Karaoke! Audience members were invited to sign up before the performance for a chance to sing one minute of any song in the show accompanied by musical director Nadia DiGiallonardo.

Tony and Grammy Award nominee Sara Bareilles, the composer and lyricist of the Broadway smash hit Waitress, returned to the Brooks Atkinson stage as Jenna Hunterson yesterday, January 16, 2018. She will remain in the role for six weeks only. Sara made her Broadway debut in the show earlier this year, breaking house records at the theatre.

It was a reunion for two of the lead actors from Broadway's On the Town when Tony-nominee Tony Yazbeck visited New Hope, PA to see Clyde Alves at Bucks County Playhouse. Alves plays the role of Tago in the world premiere of The New World , the musical comedy that is getting raves from critics. The producers of the Broadway hit Waitress announced today that they will be supporting the Susan G. Komen Greater NYC during Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October. For the first time ever a Broadway show will change costumes for Breast Cancer Awareness Month when the iconic blue uniforms donned by the Waitresses in the show go pink throughout the month of October.

Broadway star Betsy Wolfe joined the cast of Waitress just last night, June 13 in the lead role of expert pie-maker Jenna Hunterson. Wolfe is joined by Joe Tippett, who also steps into the role of Earl tonight. Drew Gehling will reprise the role he originated when he returns to the cast of Waitress on June 27, 2017 as Dr. Pomatter. Chris Diamantopoulos will play his final performance as Dr. Pomatter on June 25. The Brooks Atkinson Theatre just got a fresh look and Wolfe (along with producer Barry Weissler and her costars Caitlin Houlahan and Charity Angel Dawson)  helped unveil the makeover below!

Just yesterday, WAITRESS star Jessie Mueller and director Diane Paulus visited Ann Taylor's Rockefeller Center store (600 Fifth Avenue at 48th Street) to share their story and perform from the show. Ann Taylor and WAITRESS just launched a partnership at anntaylor.com featuring the two women in a series of portraits and a video.
