Sara Bareilles recently opened an American Idol episode with a special rendition of Disney100 song “When You Wish Upon a Star.” Disney has now released a new music video of Bareilles recording the track, along with orchestras in New York, Scotland, and London. Sara Bareilles teamed up for a duet of She Used To Be Mine from Waitress with Brandi Carlile at Girls Just Wanna Weekend. Check out video of the performance.

There's two new very exciting faces joining the diner from 27 January! Sara Bareilles, who wrote the music and lyrics for WAITRESS, will be making her West End debut by stepping into Jenna's apron, while Olivier Award winner Gavin Creel will be playing opposite her as Dr. Pomatter. Watch the video below!

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Katharine McPhee will return to Broadway as Jenna for the final weeks of Waitress' Broadway run. McPhee returns to Waitress, where she made her Broadway debut last year.

An exciting roster of debuts and old favourites took to the stage on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 June 2019 for a weekend of free entertainment in the heart of London's West End.

Showcasing the diverse, inclusive, and vibrant message of The Prom, the cast perform a medley of 'Tonight Belongs to You / It's Time To Dance' from the musical.

The pie shop is filled with new faces this spring as Shoshana Bean and Tony Award nominee Jeremy Jordan take over the roles of Jenna and Dr. Pomatter in Waitress on Broadway. Bean can currently be seen alongside Joey McIntyre as Dr. Pomatter, who plays his final performance on April 7. Jordan will take over the role on April 8 through May 12, 2019.

Rachel Zegler and Antonio Cipriano are two of musical theatre's up and coming young stars. The pair recently teamed up to perform a cover of You Matter to Me from Waitress, accompanied by Tyler Capa on piano.

Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts' Broadway Center Stage production of Meredith Willson's The Music Man starring Tony Award® nominee Norm Lewis (Porgy and Bess) as Harold Hill, Tony Award®-winning actress Jessie Mueller (Waitress, Carousel, Beautiful) as Marian Paroo, and Broadway, film, and television star Rosie O'Donnell as Mrs. Paroo. The semi-staged concert production is directed by Marc Bruni (Beautiful, Broadway Center Stage: How to Succeed...) with choreography by Chris Bailey (Jerry Springer: The Opera, The New Yorkers at Encores!) and music direction by James Moore (Miss Saigon, the Kennedy Center's Follies and Ragtime).

Rehearsals have begun for the West End production of Waitress, starring Katharine McPhee.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Sara Bareilles, will return to Waitress in the role of Jenna, joined by Tony Award-winner, Gavin Creel as Dr. Pomatter for a limited engagement January 7 to February 3, 2019.
