Andrew Lloyd Webber will be appearing on the Canadian talk show George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight on Monday, September 24 at 7 pm on CBC Television (Canada's national public broadcaster) for an in depth interview. The full interview can also be watched via live stream at www.strombo.com. Until then, check out this preview clip from Webber's interview on the show, in which he reveals that the inspiration for Evita came from one of Judy Gardland's last-ever performances.

Broadway star Ricky Martin appeared on last night's LATE NIGHT WITH JIMMY FALLON to talk about his starring role as 'Che' in EVITA and his development deal with NBC to write, produce and star in a new TV series. 'I'm really looking forward to it,' said Martin of the upcoming project. The actor also revealed his love of Twitter and his new habit of tweeting 'intermission pictures' from backstage to give fans a behind-the-scenes peek. Ricky Martin, current star of the revival of EVITA on Broadway, hosted a fundraising event for President Barack Obama today, May 14, in New York City. Martin took a moment to thank President Obama for his support of marriage equality and the Latino community. Watch his speech in the video below!
