Last night, Cage The Elephant, the GRAMMY® Award winning rock band returned to Jimmy Kimmel Live! to perform the world debut of their song Rainbow. The song will appear on their forthcoming album Neon Pill (May 17, RCA Records). Cage The Elephant’s 45-date North American US tour, produced by Live Nation, will kick off on June 20 in Salt Lake City with shows in cities including Seattle, Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York City. I was doubtful of Doubtfire. Musicals fashioned out of nonmusical comedy films are seldom stellar, and unlike so many of the patrons inside Dr. Phillips Center on opening night, I hadn’t grown up on 1993’s Mrs. Doubtfire movie, so I couldn’t count on nostalgia to pull me through. I figured I was in for a Tootsie Part Two.

LAIBACH has released a new two-track single, “Opus Dei Live 1987 - 1989 pt.1”,  featuring two unreleased live recordings: “Leben heisst Leben (Opus Dei)”  Live from London, Queen Elizabeth Hall, 1987 and “F.I.A.T. (Let It Be)”  Live from Paris, Espace Ornano, 1992. Both tracks are from the expanded edition of their 1987 album, Opus Dei, which is set to be released digitally on Mute on May 10, 2024.
