The Tribeca TV Festival will return September 12-15 for its third edition.The lineup is a showcase of new series debuts, new episodes from fan favorites, talks with creators and stars, and one-night-only events that can only be seen at Tribeca. The 2019 Tribeca TV Festival will take place at Regal Battery Park in New York City. Tickets go on sale today, Monday, August 12, at 11am ET at tribecafilm.com/TVFestival.

Today, during the Television Critics Association's Summer Press Tour at The Beverly Hilton, Hulu's Senior Vice President of Originals, Craig Erwich, presented the company's lineup of upcoming original programming including Wu-Tang: An American Saga from Brian Grazer and The RZA, Dollface starring Kat Dennings, Looking for Alaska, based on the best-selling novel by John Green and produced by Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, Reprisal from Warren Littlefield and starring Abigail Spencer and Mindy Kaling's reimagining of Four Weddings and a Funeral, all of which join the company's collection of premium original content.

Looking for Alaska, the limited series based on the best-selling John Green novel of the same name, will debut all eight episodes on Friday, October 18. The series centers around teenager Miles “Pudge” Halter (Charlie Plummer), as he enrolls in boarding school to try to gain a deeper perspective on life. He falls in love with Alaska Young (Kristine Froseth), and finds a group of loyal friends. But after an unexpected tragedy, Miles and his close friends attempt to make sense of what they've been through.
The Trevor Project to Honor Cara Delevingne

Today, The Trevor Project announced that actress, musician, and style icon Cara Delevingne will be honored at the organization's TrevorLIVE New York gala with the Hero Award for her commitment to supporting The Trevor Project's mission to end suicide among LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Questioning) young people. TrevorLIVE New York, the organization's annual star-studded signature fundraiser, will be held on Monday, June 17 at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.

ASCAP, the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers, the world leader in performing rights and advocacy for music creators, today announced that film and television composer Siddhartha Khosla has chosen ASCAP for representation of public performances of his extensive music repertoire. Khosla is knownfor his delicate and emotionally powerful scores for NBC's hit Golden Globe and Emmy-winning drama series, This Is Us. His original song for the show, “We Can Always Come Back To This,” ranked #12 on iTunes Top 100 songs, #1 in the Billboard Blues Charts for four consecutive weeks, and earned Khosla an award nomination from the Guild of Music Supervisors for Best Song/Recording for Television. Khosla also co-wrote the song, “Invisible Ink,” which was praised as an emotional highlight of the current season of This Is Us, performed by Mandy Moore.

YouTube today announced a new learning special “BookTube,” that will feature a panel discussion with former First Lady Michelle Obama who will discuss her #1 national bestselling memoir Becoming. Best-selling author John Green, co-founder of YouTube channels vlogbrothers and Crash Course will lead the discussion alongside a panel of YouTube creators that includes Jouelzy, Ariel Bissett, Kat O'Keeffe, Jesse George and Franchesca Ramsey. Pulse Films and Paramount Television have announced today a deal to option the rights to journalist Dan Hancox's acclaimed non-fiction book Inner City Pressure for Television. The project is set to be produced by Pulse Films' Thomas Benski, Lucas Ochoa and Sam Bridger. HarperCollins published the book in May of this year.

JOHN MELLENCAMP announced today additional dates to the 2019 tour of "The John Mellencamp Show" which will feature the rock icon's classics plus some new material. Being hailed by critics and fans alike as one of music's most authentic and crowd pleasing concert performers, Mellencamp has added an additional 13 dates to his 2019 tour. The news follows his previously announced dates, which will kick off with a sold out show in his home state of Indiana on February 7, 2019 and continue through April 30, 2019 in Albuquerque, NM.
