Actors Training Center (ATC), the North Shore training center that has garnered a national reputation for training actors since 2007 is proud to announce a new educational partnership with Chicago Dramatics, the arts organization based in Chicago and has developed new plays and nurtured new playwrights since 1980. The partnership is focused on arts education with two classes at ATC in Wilmette starting Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2020. These classes utilize the skills and knowledge of Chicago Dramatist-affiliated instructors to educate ATC's students in the field that are relevant to them and offer an opportunity to increase skills needed to pursue a career in their desired field.

Netflix has released the trailer for its upcoming Christmas movie, Let It Snow. When a snowstorm hits a small midwestern town on Christmas Eve, a group of high school seniors find their friendships and love lives colliding thanks to a stranded pop star, a stolen keg, a squad of competitive dancers, a mysterious woman covered in tin foil, and an epic party at the local Waffle Town. Come Christmas morning, nothing will be the same.

The album includes music from Hulu's newest original limited series, produced by Josh Schwartz (The O.C., Gossip Girl) and based on John Green's bestselling novel. Set in 2005, the series features music specific to the early 2000s era, carefully curated by Schwartz and music supervisor Alexandra Patsavas (The O.C., The Twilight Series) as a sonic companion to the show's coming-of-age narrative.

YouTube Originals just announced its next series: BookTube, and released a trailer. The aim is to be like a monthly book club, with one new episode each month featuring a different best-selling author. The idea came after they released a special this past March entitled BookTube: A Discussion with Michelle Obama (Which you can watch here). The critically-acclaimed special starred Former First Lady Michelle Obama and her best-selling novel BECOMING. She was joined by New York Times Best Selling Author John Green (The Fault in Our Stars, Paper Towns, Looking for Alaska) and popular booktubers Ariel Bissett, Jesse George, Jouelzy, Kat O'Keefe, and Franchesca Ramsey.
BWW Review: 42ND STREET: Thunderous Opening For The Umbrella Stage Company

The red velvet curtain rises on about a dozen pairs of feet tapping up a storm, but there are a few hundred more dancing their way out of the Umbrella Community Arts Center after they pay a visit to 42ND STREET, the blockbuster grand opening production of the Umbrella Stage Company, Greater Boston's newest professional theater in Concord. The 344-seat, state-of-the-art main stage is airy and comfortable, with a generous rake to provide unobstructed viewing from every row. Kicking off the season with the quintessential backstage musical is a stroke of genius that celebrates the performing arts and generates excitement for the Umbrella.
