 First Folio Theatre presents A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM as part of its annual outdoor Shakespeare Under the Stars series, which opened Saturday, July 9, 2016 at 8:15 p.m., and runs through August 14, 2016. Shakespeare's magical story about the difficulties of love is directed by Hayley Rice and produced by David Rice, author ofThe Madness of Edgar Allan Poe and composer, adaptor and lyricist of Shakespeare's Cymbeline: A Folk Tale with Music.

Babes With Blades Theatre Company Sets 2016-17 Season

Babes With Blades Theatre Company (BWBTC) announces its 19th Season, 'Women on the Front Lines,' featuring two productions that embrace the glories and heartbreaks of battle, and explore both the personal and the larger impact of war. Opening in July, the world premiere of The Promise of a Rose Garden, by Dustin Spence, is a modern day look at female Marines attempting to pass the Infantry Officer Training Course. Then the season will continue with BWBTC's tradition of an all-female cast Shakespeare production: Henry V opens in February.

First Folio Theatre announces its 2015-16 season, kicking off with the smash hit THE MADNESS OF EDGAR ALLAN POE, running September 23 through November 1, 2015. For its winter show, First Folio presents the World Premiere adaptation of one of the great screwball movie comedies of all time, MY MAN GODFREY, running January 27 through February 28, 2016. The humorously magical FOOLING BUDDHA completes the indoor season, running March 23 through April 24, 2016; and Shakespeare's comedy fantasy A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM takes the outdoor stage for the 20th anniversary of First Folio's Shakespeare Under the Stars summer series, which runs July 9 through August 14, 2016.
