Victory Gardens and the One-Minute Play Festival (OMPF) present the Third Annual Chicago One-Minute Play Festival, an evening of micro-plays by sixty of Chicago's top playwrights, directed by ten Chicago directors. OMPF benefits the Miller Match campaign and will be presented for two performances only, today, June 17 and Tuesday, June 18 at 7:30 p.m. at the Victory Gardens Biograph Theater, 2433 N. Lincoln Avenue in Lincoln Park.

Red Tape Theatre has announced that starting in January 2013, Brooke Allen will become their first playwright in residence as part of the newly revised Fresh Eyes Project. Formed in 2005, the Fresh Eyes Project has been a bold, new workshop process designed to create and develop plays that are innovative in form and subject. Over the years, it has assisted in the development of such projects as Caitlin Parish's A Twist of Water, Aaron Weissman's Egg & Alfie, Martin Zimmerman's Making of a Modern Folk Hero and Martyna Majok's Mouse in a Jar, which went on to be a Jeff Award winning production for Red Tape Theatre in 2009.

This season, Tympanic invites you to take the upper hand with two plays featuring femmes at their most fatal. From a young woman with a painful past set on revenge to a clan of sisters with a family secret and a tendency to solve sibling rivalries with their fists, this lineup of knock-down-drag-out shows is sure to pack a punch.

Martin battles an office full of malevolent puppets as he navigates the terrors of his office job and his creative writing. Kevin Lambert stars as the office hero, alongside a cast of Chicago theater favorites and Ruckus regulars. Little Triggers is performed at The Side Project Theatre January 12-Feburary 12, 2012. All performances are at 8:00pm. Preview tickets are $10. General Tickets are $15.
