Season two of MAKING OF A MUSICAL, a four-part documentary event series from the creators of the TARA TREMENDOUS musical, will debut in early 2018, it was announced today by Jonathan Chase, development manager, Wonkybot Studios.

The new musical October Sky, inspired by the Universal Pictures film and 'Rocket Boys' by Homer H. Hickam Jr. will receive a developmental lab from November 9-November 10, 2017 in New York City.

The new Broadway musical, WAR PAINT, which stars Broadway legends and two-time Tony Award winners Patti LuPone and Christine Ebersole together for the first time, will now play its final performance on Sunday, November 5, 2017.

Bart Shatto is a star performer. I first heard Bart with the famed theatrical-rock group The Trans-Siberian Orchestra. He's sung on a couple of their recordings, but toured the country with them for many years, notably singing the songs Old Town Bar seen below. Then I first saw Bart while he played Bud in Marriott Lincolnshire Theatre's fantastic production of The Bridges of Madison County. But Shatto is not only from the world of rock, but the world of theatre, performing in many shows on Broadway & Touring shows including The Civil War, Hands on A Hardbody and Dracula. Shatto also played the pivotal role of Jean Valjean in the Broadway & Touring cast of Les Miserables and played Gus/Growltiger in the National Tour of Cats.

Monkees lead singer Micky Dolenz, Matilda The Musical's MiMi Ryder, Orange Is The New Black's Annie Golden and a host of other Broadway stars headline the Original Studio Cast Recording of the new family musical Tara Tremendous - The Musical, which will be released from Wonkybot Studios in digital and physical formats on Friday, September 29. From the picturesque covered bridges of 1965 Winterset, Iowa, comes the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical, THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY, continuing Marriott Theatre's spectacular 2017 Season, running now through August 13, 2017 with a press opening tomorrow, June 28, at 10 Marriott Drive, Lincolnshire.
