Review: THE SEX PARTY, Menier Chocolate Factory
Terry Johnson’s new play,The Sex Party, has many ingredients for success; an intriguing idea, an excellent cast and a beautiful set, but is let down with a sledgehammer script and meandering message that goes nowhere. There’s a lot happening at once, but the entire play is as shallow as a puddle.

The Menier Chocolate Factory has announced that Amanda Ryan joins the company as Magdalena for the world première of Terry Johnson's The Sex Party – joining the previously announced Will Barton (Tim), Lisa Dwan (Gilly), John Hopkins (Jake), Timothy Hutton (Jeff), Jason Merrells (Alex), Pooya Mohseni (Lucy), Molly Osborne (Hetty) and Kelly Price (Camilla). Amanda Donohoe has had to withdraw for personal reasons.

All new production images have been released for the spine-chilling ghost story, WHEN DARKNESS FALLS, which began previews on 18 August at Park Theatre, London and officially opens on Monday 23 August. It is playing at the Park Theatre until 4 September, before going on tour.
Park Theatre's WHEN DARKNESS FALLS Postponed
Following the Prime Minister’s announcement on 4 January 2021 of a new national lockdown until at least the middle of February, Park Theatre and the producers of the new spine-chilling ghost story, WHEN DARKNESS FALLS, which was due to play a limited season from 24 February to 13 March 2021 at Park Theatre in London, have taken the difficult decision to postpone the run.

Written by James Milton and Paul Morrissey and directed by Paul Morrissey, Will Barton will play John Blondel and Alex Phelps The Speaker. The audience will be socially distanced.
