Obie Award winner Metropolitan Playhouse presents a new, live, free 'screened' reading of NOT SMART, Wilbur Daniel Steele. The reading begins streaming on March 6 at 8:00 pm (Eastern) and will be available through March 10/2021 at 10:00 pm (Eastern)  

A scientist and a songwriter hunt for answers in Franklin, a world-premiere play by Samantha Noble, launching Nov. 30-Dec. 16 at Perseverance Theatre, Alaska's professional regional theatre company. The production, directed by Hannah Wolf (Juneau bred, a 2018 O'Neill Center National Directing Fellow), features original music by Juneau-based indie composer Marian Call.

On Monday, September 24, 2018 Innovative Theatre Foundation, the organization who for the past 14 years has been dedicated to celebrating Off-Off-Broadway, presented 26 awards and four honorary awards for outstanding achievement in theatre at the 14th Annual New York Innovative Theatre Awards Ceremony, at Centennial Memorial Theatre (120 West 14th Street, NYC). Casting has been announced for THE FLOOD, an original musical inspired by the historic 1993 Mississippi River Floods. This one night only special concert presentation will take place at TheTimesCenter (242 West 41st Street) on Saturday, September 8 at 8pm. Produced by the Prospect Theater Company, THE FLOOD kicks off their 2018-2019 season and this IGNITE series concert is presented in partnership with Greymatters Productions.

Benjamin Barker returns to London bent on revenge after serving time for a crime he did not commit.  Armed with a sharp, straight razor, he sets up shop as one of the finest barbers in the city, and calls himself Sweeney Todd.  When he meets Mrs. Lovett, a local pie maker who will do anything for him, Todd's plan for vengeance becomes a savory pie filling, and the blood starts flowing.  With a brilliant score and unforgettable characters, this Tony Award-winning musical is one tasty piece of theatre.
