Three-time Grammy Award-winner Sarah McLachlan returns to the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall on Tuesday, February 26 at 8 p.m. With over 40 million albums sold worldwide and 12 Juno Awards to her name, McLachlan was recently inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame and has solidified her status as one of the most celebrated singer-songwriters in the entertainment industry.

Actors' Shakespeare Project kicks off 2017 with Christopher Marlowe's complex Edward II, England's notorious king who forsakes everything for his public and private passions--only to meet horrific ends at the hands of his queen and his conniving noblemen. ASP is fortunate to bring both the talents of its Resident Acting Company and director David R. Gammons to navigate the intricate theatrical landscape of this historically controversial and rarely seen play. Performances are February 22 - March 19, 2017 (Press Performance: Saturday, February 25, 8 PM) at the Charlestown Working Theater, 442 Bunker Hill St, Charlestown. It's a madcap journey to Monte Carlo with a rich, dead uncle, mistaken identity, slamming doors, romance, and great songs.

Stoneham Theatre opens its 17th Season with Lucky Stiff, a musical murder mystery farce about love, dogs, diamonds, and death. From the creators of Ragtime and Seussical, Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty, Directed by Caitlin Lowans and Choreographed by Elliot Norton and IRNE Award-winner Ilyse Robbins, Lucky Stiff hilariously tells the story of an unassuming shoe salesman who stands to inherit six million dollars from a recently deceased uncle he never met. There's only one catch: he has to bring his embalmed uncle on a vacation to Monte Carlo. Should he succeed in passing his uncle off as alive, he'll get the inheritance. If not, the money goes to the Universal Dog Home of Brooklyn, or else his uncle's gun-toting ex! Performances run from September 8 - 25, 2016. Press Opening is Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 3:00pm.
