Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director/CEO) presented a one-night only Benefit Reading of Oscar Wilde's beloved comedy The Importance of Being Earnest starring the legendary 5-time Tony winner Angela Lansbury as “Lady Bracknell.” The cast also includes Daniel Davis as “Lane,” John Glover as “Reverend Canon Chasuble,” Tony winner Jayne Houdyshell as “Miss Prism,” Simon Jones as “Merriman,” Hamish Linklater as “John Worthing,” Rebecca Night as “Cecily Cardew,” Lily Rabe as “Gwendolen Fairfax” and Tom Rhoads as “Algernon Moncrieff.”

Grammy Award winner Tori Kelly, Grammy Award winner Colbie Caillat, folk-pop musical group Us The Duo, and more come together at Carnegie Hall on Thursday, December 5th to perform at Christmas with Tim Janis & Special Guests, a benefit concert for the Forever Young Foundation's music therapy initiative Sophie's Place, which provides music therapy facilities built in children's hospitals and Kate Winslet's Golden Hat Foundation, which celebrates and fosters awareness of those living with autism. Additional casting has been announced including Rebecca Night as 'Cecily Cardew,' Daniel Davis as 'Lane,' John Glover as 'Reverend 2 Canon Chasuble,' Tony winner Jayne Houdyshell as 'Miss Prism,' Simon Jones as 'Merriman,' Hamish Linklater as 'John Worthing,' Lily Rabe as 'Gwendolen Fairfax' and Tom Rhoads as 'Algernon Moncrieff.'

The York Theatre Company, as part of its acclaimed Developmental Reading Series, will present a staged reading of the new musical Monet, with music and lyrics by Carmel Owen (Asylum: The Strange Case of Mary Lincoln), and book by Joan Ross Sorkin (In the Theatre). Monet will play two performances only on Friday, March 8, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. at The York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's (619 Lexington Avenue, entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue).

Just last night, the York Theatre Company honored Broadway and Hollywood legend Angela Lansbury with the 2015 Oscar Hammerstein Award for Lifetime Achievement in Musical Theatre. The evening's entertainment was directed by Kurt Stammc(York's Closer Than Ever; Our Sinatra), with music direction by Andrew Gerle (York's Closer Than Ever).

The York Theatre Company has announced today Broadway's Klea Blackhurst (York's Call Me Madame) Mario Cantone (Assassins), Erin Davie (York's Silk Stockings, Side Show), Matt McGrath (Nice Work If You Can Get It), and Mary Louise Wilson (On the Twentieth Century), along with the acclaimed Yale Wiffenpoofs, have joined the roster of illustrious special guest performers who will gather to honor Broadway and Hollywood legend Angela Lansbury at 2015 Oscar Hammerstein Award for Lifetime Achievement in Musical Theatre on Monday, November 16, 2015 at Guastavino's (409 East 59th Street). 

The York Theatre Company (James Morgan, Producing Artistic Director; Evans Haile, Interim Executive Director) will honor Broadway and Hollywood legend Angela Lansbury with the 2015 Oscar Hammerstein Award for Lifetime Achievement in Musical Theatre on Monday, November 16, 2015 at Guastavino's (409 East 59th Street). 

There will be a Celebration of legendary theatrical press agent Shirley Herz, on Monday, November 4th at 1:30 pm at the Samuel J Friedman Theatre, 261 West 47th Street, NYC. Some of the participants are Jeffrey Alper, Sam Altman, Barry Brown, Jan Buttram, Robert Callely, Tyne Daly, Jane Friedman, Diane Judge, Angela Lansbury, 'Charlotte Moore, Tom Rhoads, Liz Smith, Iris Williams and La Cage aux Folles' Original cast members: Betsy Craig, Dan Grady, Cady Huffman, David Jackson, Eric Lamp, Tom Sesma & Jennifer Smith. Musical accompaniment by Mark Hummel and Don Pippin.

A concert presentation of the 1997 semi-autobiographical Off-Broadway cult hit musical, The Last Session, featuring the creators and original cast members from the GLAAD Media Award and L.A. Drama Critics Circle Award winning New York and Los Angeles productions, will be presented on Wednesday, June 23, at 8pm, at the Theatre at St. Clement's, as a benefit for their food pantry and free veterinary clinic.
