Musical Revue Revisits SSP And Studio BE History


The Saint Sebastian Players (SSP), resident theatre company of St. Bonaventure Oratory, take a trip down memory lane with Studio BE, a children's musical theatre company that has also produced at St. Bonaventure, in a?oeSide by Side by SSP and Studio BE: A Retrospective Musical Fundraiser.a?? Performances take place Saturday, December 7 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, December 8 at 2 p.m. (refreshments begin 30 minutes prior to curtain at both performances) in the lower level of St. Bonaventure, 1625 W. The Other Theatre Company and Artistic Director Carin Silkaitis have announced the company's second production in its inaugural season, Bent, written by Martin Sherman and directed by Keira Fromm, at Strawdog Theatre, 3829 N. Broadway, June 27 - July 26. Preview performances are June 27 at 4 and 8 p.m. Opening/Press night is Wednesday, July 1 at 8 p.m. The regular performance schedule is Thursdays and Fridays at 8 p.m. (no show Thursday, July 9) Saturdays at 4 and 8 p.m. and Sundays at 4 p.m. Preview tickets are $20 with the regular run tickets $25 and may be purchased at www.buzzonstage.com/theatres/other-theatre-company. TimeLine Theatre Company Extends THE NORMAL HEART Through 12/29


TimeLine Theatre Company announces 9 additional performances of its acclaimed production of The Normal Heart by Larry Kramer, directed by Nick Bowling. Originally scheduled to close on December 22, The Normal Heart will now run through December 29, 2013, plus three additional Tuesday performances at 7:30 pm on December 3, December 10 and December 17, at Stage 773, 1225 W. Belmont Ave., Chicago. Tickets to newly added performances are on sale starting today.
