Audio publisher Fabler Audio has announced the lineup of its inaugural 'theater-for-your-ears' initiative: Fabler Files, a collection of original short-form audio plays by Italian and American playwrights. Six playwrights received commissions to create original audio plays on the theme of 'Togetherness.'

Stable Cable Lab Co. will host their first annual Halloween Extravaganza following the October 31st evening performance of Because Me written and directed by Max Baker. As part of the company's 8th season, downtown theatre company The Amoralists will present full-length readings of 7 new plays at 'AmoralFEST 2014: Revengeance.' AmoralFEST is an annually curated series of public readings of full-length plays, portions of which The Amoralists have, over the course of the last season, read in AmoraLAB, the company's monthly(ish) experiment that hands their actors over to promising playwrights and their provocative new plays.

The Amoralists announced today that the group will be presenting a post-show talkback on Sunday, July 15 with playwright Derek Ahonen. Joe Meyers of the Connecticut Post will moderate the discussion, which follows the 2pm performance.
