LAUGH NOW OR GET OUT OF MY LIFE, a new documentary by Nick Varricchio, featuring the life and stories of Broadway veteran Peter Marinos will premiere at Village East by Angelika on October 3, 2022 at 6:30pm.

As BroadwayWorld sadly reported, Tony Award Winner Gary Beach passed away this week at age 70. He is survived by his husband Jeffrey Barnett.

Happy Days was an iconic show in the mid "70's and early "80's that completely powered the ABC Television lineup.

The hit musical, Happy Days, is based on the Paramount Pictures' television series. She spars with Aristide Forestier, a self-righteous judge, determined to close all Parisian dance halls. The show features the provocativly delightful Can-Can, the high-energy and physically demanding music hall dance which is a hybrid of the Polka and The Quadrille. First danced in circa 1822, it was outlawed for a number of years as immoral and prohibited by the police! How times have changed!'

BroadwayWorld has confirmed that San Diego's Old Globe Theatre will back a reading of the 1997 musical The Green Heart. The reading will feature a revised script and a slew of Broadway stars including: Emily Skinner, Jackie Hoffman, Fred Applegate. The event will be held August 8-12.

The Tony Award-winning stars Matthew Broderick and Nathan Lane were joined by a host of special guests when they served as Masters of Ceremonies for the Vineyard Theatre Gala honoring the five-time Tony Award-winning director and choreographer Susan Stroman at the company's annual benefit last night, February 28 at 6:00pm at the Hudson Theatre at the Millennium Broadway Hotel.
