Voices Inside in collaboration with Nylon Fusion Theatre Company and Pen America present Sentenced To A Life Without Music, an evening of one-act plays by incarcerated writers. This special limited engagement will be presented at The Wild Project (195 E 3rd St, New York, NY 10009), September 21-25. 

Timeless Stage & Screen, Amas Musical Theatre and The Amas Musical Theatre Lab will present staged readings of MOZART: HER STORY – THE NEW MUSICAL, with book and lyrics by Tegan Summer and music and additional lyrics by Gregory Nabours.

Amas Musical Theatre (Donna Trinkoff, Artistic Producer) and The Amas Musical Theatre Lab will present staged readings of MĀYĀ, a new musical, with book and music by Eric Sorrels and book and lyrics by Cheeyang Ng.

New York City’s Gay Pride Week will kick off with a performance of “Doing Time with Lavinia: The Musical,” a cautionary tale of one woman’s journey from Broadway to behind bars, written and performed by downtown diva Susan Campanaro, with an original score written and performed by Lynn Portas, directed by, and developed with Christopher Scott.

Amas Musical Theatre and The Amas Lab will present private industry readings of “Settle Down,” a new musical with book & lyrics by Gabe Caruso and music by Sangwoo ‘Simon’ Lee. Directed by Christopher Scott, with music direction by Andrew Shield, the readings will be on Monday, April 11, 2022 at 4pm and Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at 2pm & 6pm.

 Amas Musical Theatre and The Amas Musical Theatre Lab today announced upcoming staged readings of “Alice’s Wonderland: A New Musical,” a musical adventure with book, music and lyrics by J. Quinton Johnson and Julia Riew.

Ed Asner will present Missing Person, a play with music starring Susan Campanaro composed by Lynn Portas with book by Ms. Campanaro for 5 performances only (August 21-24) at The Playroom Theater (151 West 46th Street- just east of Broadway).

For over five plus decades Linda Lavin has enraptured audiences on stage, screen and television. She won the triple crown- Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards for her heart -breaking performance in Neil Simon's 'Broadway Bound'. She is known to million of fans as 'Alice' on her 9 -year ground breaking TV Series for which she won two Golden Globes. Celebrated playwrights Nicky Silver, Donald Margulies, Richard Greenberg and Charles Busch have written memorable and award winning roles for her. This renaissance woman does everything.

The production, an Official Selection of the 2017 New York Musical Festival, features book, music, and lyrics by Dan Manjovi. I Am, I Will, I Do will be directed by Christopher Scott with music direction by Matthew Croft.

Amas Musical Theatre and The Amas Song Salon will offer a special presentation with four rising Broadway talents - Sam Davis (An American in Paris), Daniel May (Flower Drum Song), Rashidra Scott (Sister Act), and A.J. Shively (Bright Star) - who will explore the art of musical orchestrating and arranging.

For their inaugural offering, Great Circle Productions will present the world premiere of EDWIN, The Story of Edwin Booth, a dramatic musical that commemorates the 150th Anniversary (1866-2016) of the legendary actor's return to the stage, as well as the 400th Anniversary of the birth of William Shakespeare, with music by Marianna Rosett, and book & lyrics by Eric Swanson.

After enjoying its World Premiere engagement earlier this spring at the Playroom Theater, A Class Act, the inaugural and relevant new play by attorney and playwright Norman Shabel, will now hold court at New World Stages  - Stage 5(340 West 50th Street - between 8th & 9th Avenues) for a summer run.  Produced by Eric Krebs, performances will begin on Saturday, July 9 at 8pm and continue through Sunday, September 4.

Manhattan Musical Theater Lab and The Schulberts will present the newest musical by the writing/producing duo Charlie Schulman & Michael Roberts, GOLDSTEIN, directed by Christopher Scott. The musical, which is aimed for an Off-Broadway production, will be presented on Friday, April 15 at 3pm and Monday, April 18 at 7pm at the Actors Temple Theatre (339 West 47th Street).

Amas Musical Theatre and The Amas Song Salon will offer a special presentation with three rising Broadway talents -- Sydney James Harcourt (Hamilton), Doreen Montalvo (On Your Feet) and Timothy Ware (Kinky Boots) -- who will present musical highlights from their respective shows. The evening will be held on Monday, November 30 in a spectacular, sky-high location on West 57th Street.

Masterworks Theater Company presents the first show of their season: The Glass Menagerie by Tennessee Williams. Directed by Christopher Scott, The Glass Menagerie will feature Saundra Santiago ('The Sopranos'), Richard Prioleau (HBO's 'A Normal Heart') as Tom, Olivia Washington (Lee Daniels' The Butler) as Laura, and Doug Harris (The Found Dog Ribbon Dance) as Jim. The play began on May 8 and opens tonight, May 14 running through May 30 at the 47th Street Theatre (304 West 47th Street).
