The 16th annual Origin 1st Irish Theatre Festival will take place this year from March 23 to April 28 in New York.

Jemicy School thespians will now represent Maryland by performing their award-winning One Act on the Chapter Select Stage at the International Thespian Festival June 22-27 at Indiana University Bloomington.

Disney and Cameron Mackintosh's Mary Poppins JR. will be playing at Roswell Cultural Arts Center from Friday, May 10 through Saturday, May 11. The "practically perfect" 70-minute musical, designed for middle school-aged performers, is based on the classic P.L. Travers stories and the Walt Disney film. The Roswell Youth Theatre cast includes 30 students led by Leslie Kelley, Jane Hendrix, and Nancy Whitehead Brown.

The exceptional and little-known works of wearable sculpture presented this fall in Picasso to Koons: Artist as Jeweler will reward viewers with new insights into the creative wellsprings of such artistic giants as Georges Braque, Max Ernst, Lucio Fontana, Louise Nevelson, Anthony Caro, Yoko Ono, and Anish Kapoor.
