Backlight Productions is celebrating their 10th year with a production of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella at the 1,075-seat Polk Theater at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center (TPAC) at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 22.

BroadwayWorld has learned that Jose Llana (THE KING AND I), Ann Harada (AVENUE Q), Ali Ewoldt (THE KING AND I), and more will lead "Changing the Stats: Asian Americans on Broadway." The Award-winning Astoria Performing Arts Center (APAC), will be presenting Merrily We Roll Along, with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and a book by George Furth, based on the original play by George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart. The musical will be choreographed by Misha Shields, musical directed by Ming Aldrich-Gan and directed by APAC's Artistic Director Dev Bondarin. The musical begins on Thursday, April 30, 2015 and continues through Saturday, May 23, 2015. APAC's performance venue is located at the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, 30-44 Crescent St (@ 30th Rd), in Astoria, Queens.

The Asian American Composers and Lyricists Project and ReImagined World Entertainment will present 'Arriving In Asian America,' a song cycle collectively written by members of the project with original words and music by Adam Gwon, Timothy Huang, Christine Toy Johnson, Ming Aldrich-Gan, Hyeyoung Kim (with Michael Cooper), Leon Ko, Robert Lee, Yoonmi Lee (with Gaby Gold & Zhu Yi), Yan Li, Jason Ma, J. Oconer Navarro, Kamala Sankaram, Tidtaya Sinutoke (with Ty Defoe) and Jeff Tang.

'Musical Speed Dating', an evening featuring the collaborations of the BMI class of 2013-2014, will play The Duplex on Monday, November 10 at 9:30 pm. The concert will showcase the new works of these up-and-coming writers, as performed by an all-star Broadway cast including Charissa Bertels (A Christmas Story), Ali Ewoldt (Les Mis), Arlo Hill (The Phantom of the Opera) and KJ Hippensteel (The Book of Mormon).

Jason Gotay, Robin Skye and more will star in '210 Amlent Avenue,' scheduled for a developmental reading at the 2014 New York Musical Theatre Festival.
