Steppenwolf Theatre Company is pleased to announce the complete casting and directors for the first four shows of its 2018/19 season: Downstate by Pulitzer Prize-winning ensemble member Bruce Norris; Familiar by Danai Gurira; La Ruta by Isaac Gomez; and A Doll's House, Part 2 by Lucas Hnath. Erasing the Distance is proud to announce SPARKfest 2017. The inaugural festival includes three world premieres; Walk A Mile, Breathe With Me, and The Lies We Tell. The performances address mental health issues like addiction, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, and conditions related to aging. 

2017 is the first full year produced by Erasing the Distance's expanded leadership team. Last year, Amy Sarno joined the organization as Artistic Director and Heather Bodie was named Associate Artistic Director, a role new to the company.
