Avery Norris is a Long Island native. She is a current student at Fredonia State University getting her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre. Some of her credits include Cicely Plowright in "Daisy Pulls it Off", Julia Marvis in 'Porcelain and Pink", Mary Poppins in "Mary Poppins", and Sue in "My Son Pinocchio Jr." at the Gateway Playhouse.

Gabriella Garcia joins the cast of DUETS with The Write Teacher(s) Volume 6!  Gabriella is a west coast native and has been in NYC a little over a year now. She couldn't be happier pursuing her dreams in her favorite city. Gabriella is a college graduate from AMDA: College and Conservatory of Performing Arts where she received a BFA in Musical Theater. She is over the moon to be a part of DUETS v 6!

Lindsey is from San Antonio Texas; a graduate of the University of Oklahoma's Wietzenhoffer School of Musical Theater. Some of her favorite credits include Eponine in Les Miserables (MUNY), Bartram and Hill's Theory of Relativity (54 Below) & Young Miss Foley in Something Wicked This Way Comes and Flossie's Friend in On The Town (Univ. of Oklahoma). Christopher Rice (Broadway's The Book of Mormon) continues his viral #Tappy video series online with the 2017 Tappy Christmas Special. This production, inspired by the televised holiday specials of the 1960s, features Broadway stars Kyle Dean Massey (TV's 'Nashville', Pippin, Next to Normal, Wicked), Bryonha Marie Parham (Prince of Broadway, Porgy and Bess, After Midnight), Dorcas Leung (current Gigi in Miss Saigon), and dancers from many other Broadway shows.

If there's anything everyone can agree on about 2016, it's that it was rough. As the contentious year comes to a close, many artists are turning to the holidays as a time to spread rejuvenation and hope. This week, the a cappella group #ChorusCalls, led by former Kinky Boots and Spiderman: Turn Off the Dark cast member Jake Odmark, released a cover of John Lennon's classic call for peace, War is Over.

On Monday, May 30th at 8:30pm, The Green Room at New World Stages will be hosting a benefit concert for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. 

'I feel like I'm home', were the first words uttered by Tony Award-winning star of Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Lena Hall, as she took the stage at Broadway Sessions on Thursday night March 3rd. And that's just how it felt in the room... like we were all home. Granted, a boozey, showtuney home, but home nonetheless.

Victor Legra, Anthony Crouchelli & M.O.V.E for Autism presented 'Putting the Pieces Together: Volume 2' featuring the music of Carner and Gregor, Rosser and Sohne, Maglione and Ruiz, Joey Contreras, Justin Anthony Long, Jonathan Lee & Joanna Burns; David Dabbon, and Will Van Dyke.
