Set two years after the events of Pride and Prejudice, this winning sequel with period style and modern wit is sure to delight Jane Austen fans and newcomers alike. 

Maryland Ensemble Theatre's FUN Company presents Giggle, Giggle, Quack. The best-selling children's book by Doreen Cronin and Betsy Lewin, comes to life in this hilarious show for all ages with music by George Howe and a script by James E. Grote.

After a year of virtual shows, Maryland Ensemble Theatre will close out their 2020-2021 Season of Surprises with a brand new, in-person, outdoor production: Midsummer: A Most Rare Vision. 

Maryland Ensemble Theatre has revealed the first production in its 2020-2021 Season Of Surprises: Victory Is Within Our Grasp, a new original work to celebrate the 100 year anniversary of the 19th Amendment. Featuring real monologues from the women's suffrage movement, compiled by Suzanne Beal, Julie Herber, and Gené Fouché and directed by Gené Fouché, Victory Is Within Our Grasp will be presented as a virtual 4-part series over the coming month.

Maryland Ensemble Theatre (MET) is bringing the Frederick community a timeless sexy cult classic! Richard O'Brien's hit musical 'The Rocky Horror Show' has been making people jump up and dance to it's fun and provocative songs for decades, and this year the Frederick community can join in on the fun, thanks to MET and Frederick Community College. This show is an experience like no other.

MET's resident improv and sketch comedy group, The Comedy Pigs, is gearing up for what promises to be another highly successful Comedy Extravaganza onFriday, August 5th and Saturday, August 6th at 8pm. With an awesome line-up of improvisers and stand-up comedians from across the MD/VA/DC area, both nights will feature completely different rosters of talent, with different forms of comedy, including short-form improv games, long-form improv, stand-up, sketches, and everything in between.
