Juan Ayala is a Connecticut born and bred actor, singer, writer and director. He discovered a love for music at a very young age which led to performing in plays and musicals. He went on to major in Theater Arts at Housatonic Community College in 2011 where he studied Acting, Drama, Shakespeare, Improv and Directing, where he wrote, produced and directed 'Stakes', his first musical. In Connecticut, he performed at the Bijou Theatre, the Downtown Cabaret Theatre and Westport Community Theatre, among others. In 2018, he began pursuing work in New York City in film and television and went on to appear in commercials for Sprint, Blink Fitness and Manhattan Theatre Club and plays the recurring character Agent Woods on NBC's FBI thriller 'Blindspot'. He is currently represented by Jenn David at JL David Agency and resides in Brooklyn.
