TOSOS (The Other Side of Silence), New York City's Oldest LGBTQ Theatre celebrated their upcoming 2017-2018 season with a benefit at The Norwood Club in Chelsea, on September 14. Check out photos from the evening below!

Doric Wilson's award-winning satire, STREET THEATER about the evening of the Stonewall riots, returns to the Eagle Bar for a limited run September 20 - October 4. The production is produced by TOSOS (The Other Side of Silence), New York City's Oldest LGBTQ Theatre and is the first play of their 2017-18 Season. TOSOS Artistic Director, Mark Finley directs. The production won the New York Innovative Theater Award in 2016 for Outstanding Revival.

On Monday, September 26, 2016, The New York Innovative Theatre Foundation, the organization who for the past 12 years has been dedicated to celebrating Off-Off-Broadway, announced the 2016 recipients at its annual awards ceremony, The IT Awards. Hosted by a crowd favorite, Jason Kravits and directed by award winning director and sound designer, DeLisa White the ceremony took place from 7pm to 10pm at the Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College.

On Monday, August 8, 2016, The New York Innovative Theatre Foundation, the organization who for the past 12 years has been dedicated to celebrating Off-Off-Broadway, announced the 2016 nominees at its annual event, The IT Party, celebrating 12 years and thousands of nominees at 42West. Wilson's play, originally produced at The Spike, was written three years before the Ramrod leather bar massacre in November 1980, in which a man armed with a machine gun shot eight people, killing two. It is a dark, comic look at the bar's patrons and their attempts to defend it from both physical attacks as well as political attempts to close it.

The Robert Chesley/Jane Chambers Playwrights Project (TOSOS) (Kathleen Warnock - curator) presents Chris Weikel's 'Nelly' or The Ballad Of Nelly, the Molly House Bride, directed by Mark Finley at TAI, 150 West 30 Street (between 6 and 7 ave), 14th floor, on Sunday, December 6th at 5pm.

Even before the first act of Godspell began, the energy was palpable in the room. I do not think I have seen a more packed audience at Westchester Broadway Theatre in quite a while; especially since most of the shows presented there are more conventional.

Westchester Broadway Theatre is thrilled to bring this timeless classic to the WBT stage!  Director John Fanelli, who has directed SOS productions ofPeter Pan, Big River and Ragtime, here at WBT, will be at the helm. The Associate Director/Choreographer is Jonathan Stahl. The Musical Director is Bill Stanley.
