On Tuesday, January 24, philanthropist Jean Shafiroff brought together several dozen supporters of the New York City Mission Society to begin planning for the annual Champions for Children Gala. Jean Shafiroff will again chair the benefit, which will be held on April 5 at the Mandarin Hotel.

Jean Shafiroff recently hosted a cocktail party at her Park Avenue home to celebrate the announcement of Southampton Hospital's The Phillips Family Cancer Center.

On Wednesday May 3rd, The American Heart Association's 20th Annual Heart of the Hamptons Ball began celebrations with a kick-off party in New York City. The gala will take place on June 25th at the Hayground School in Bridgehampton.
