Thorton Wilder's Our Town tells the story of the everyday lives of the citizens of a fictional American small town of Grover's Corners through three acts: "Daily Life," "Love and Marriage," and "Death and Eternity." Narrated by a stage manager and performed with minimal props and sets, this show is uniquely suited for our King Avenue sanctuary.  You won't want to miss this telling of Our Town, during its 80th anniversary of its Broadway opening.  Performances run March 8, 9, 10 at 7:30 pm and March 11 at 3:00pm. All performances are at King Avenue United Methodist Church, 299 King Ave., Columbus, OH. Childcare is available during the Friday evening and Sunday matinee performances. Admission is free, but a $10 donation is encouraged.

Cabot Rea hosted a musical journey through the 32-year history of SRO Theatre. Performed on Saturday, November 19th at the Columbus Performing Arts Center, the show featured performances from SRO alumni Hillary Billups, Joe Bishara, Susan Bunsold-Wilson, Dawn Farrell, Ruth Fullen, Bill Hafner, Sharon Kibe, Candice Kight, Don Knoblauch, Ryan Kopycinski, Ron Nocks, Layne Roate, John Schmidt, Jordan Shafer, Paula Shtein, Michelle Weiser and Peggy Williams

On Saturday, November 19, SRO (Standing Room Only) Theatre will present a glittering musical journey through its 32-year history featuring performances by dozens of former SRO performers, hosted by the legendary Cabot Rea. "We're Still Here! A Musical Journey" is aimed at celebrating the company's long history through the musicals they have produced as well as to pave the way for the rest of the 2016-2017 season.

King Ave Players is proud to present Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at King Ave Church! Joseph is a musical with lyrics by Tim Rice and music by Andrew Lloyd Webber. The story is based on the 'coat of many colors' story of Joseph from the Bible's Book of Genesis.
