Grace Melon BIO

Grace has been acting professionally since the age of 13. Her favorite roles include Anne in THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK at Metropolis Performing Arts Center and Hilary in Jonathan Berry's hit production MOMENT at Steep Theatre, which she was Jeff Nominated for (Best Ensemble) She is a junior and Chicago Academy for the Arts High School and is represented by Gray Talent Group.

"One performer was so stunning that not to mention her would be a grave oversight. Grace Melon in the part of young Hillary Kelly, not only brought a welcome shot of positive energy to the play, but her curly red hair, perfect Irish accent, giggly dialogue reading and amazing facility to perform what was in essence a solo turn, makes her someone to watch. Only a high school sophomore according to her bio, she is already a seasoned stage veteran. I look forward to seeing her again."-Gail Glaiser of The Examiner on her role as Hilary in MOMENT.
"Grace Melon, an obviously gifted high school sophomore, is spot-on as Hillary, the teenager in a hormone rush." -Hedy Weiss of the Chicago Sun-Times on her role as Hilary in MOMENT
"just the right amount of droll topspin."-Nina Metz of the Chicago Tribune on her role as Sue in THE COPPERHEAD at City Lit Theatre.
"Absolutely radiant,"-Joy Campbell of the Chicago Theatre Beat on her role as Hilary in MOMENT
"Very amusing."-Scott C. Morgan of the Windy City Times
