For the first time in its history, the French Institute Alliançe Francaise (FIAF) honored two women at its annual Trophée des Arts Gala on Monday, November 4th at The Plaza Hotel in NYC. This year's event honored actress and musician Charlotte Gainsbourg, who was recognized as someone who exemplifies FIAF's mission of French-American friendship and cross-cultural exchange. FIAF also fêted Ardian president Dominique Senequier, who received the Pilier d'Or for her contributions as a leading businesswoman to the French-American community.   

The popular series CULTURE & COCKTAILS, hosted by the Cultural Council of Palm Beach County, recently attracted around 130 supporters to The Colony Hotel, Palm Beach for the fourth 'Conversation' of its 10th anniversary season. Scroll down for photos from the event!

The Stella Adler Studio of Acting presented their Eighth Annual Stella by Starlight Benefit Gala last night at Espace in New York City. This year's honorees included acting luminaries Elaine Stritch and George Takei, Broadway idol Stephen Sondheim and real estate mogul Charles S. Cohen. The gala featured a special live performance from Ms. Stritch's friend Bernadette Peters and red carpet appearances by Alec Baldwin, Liza Minnelli and James Gandolfini. Last night, 59th Street between Park and Lexington was a little stretch of Tinseltown. Lighthouse International and the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences ('AMPAS') unveiled the newly restored Academy Theater at Lighthouse International. And some of Hollywood's greatest stars were out to celebrate the occasion.
