The King was in the in the house, last night. The cast of the new Off-Broadway musical Attack of the Elvis Impersonators, the zany new musical that will leave you howling for more, with book, music and lyrics by Lory Lazarus, at The Lion Theatre at Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street, between 9th & 10th Avenues) welcomed Elvis Impersonators to the show, now in performance through September 24, 2017. Caffeine Theatre announces that it will close it doors after eight seasons. The storefront theatre closes after producing nineteen shows, including four world premieres, eleven Chicago premieres, two remounts at Theater on the Lake, and garnering nine Joseph Jefferson Award nominations.

Steep Theatre welcomes back Artistic Associate and recent Jeff Award-winning director Jonathan Berry this summer for their U.S. Premiere of Deirdre Kinahan's Moment. Steep's U.S. premiere of Moment opens Thursday, July 12th. The playwright Ms. Kinahan will be coming to Chicago to take in the production August 16th through 18th.
