Photo Coverage: Off Broadway Alliance Honors the Best of the 2011-2012 Season
The Off Broadway Alliance, the organization of Off Broadway producers, theaters, general managers, press agents and marketing firms, presented the 2nd annual Off Broadway Alliance Awards Reception yesterday, June 19th at Sardi's. The awards honor outstanding achievement in Off Broadway theater for the 2011-2012 season. Honorees were on hand to receive their awards and Howard Kissel and Theodore Mann were posthumously inducted into the Off Broadway Hall of Fame.
Broadway Lights to Dim for Theatre Critic Howard Kissel Tomorrow
The Broadway community mourns the loss of Howard Kissel, the long-time theater critic for The Daily News, who passed away on Friday night at the age of 69. The marquees of Broadway theaters in New York will be dimmed in his memory tomorrow night, Tuesday, February 28th, at exactly 7:00 p.m. for one minute.
