Paramount Theatre has announced its roster for School of Rock, the Chicago professional regional premiere of the good-time musical based on the hit Jack Black movie, featuring new music from the genius mind of Andrew Lloyd Webber, directed by Trent Stork.

Award-winning performers Robert Deason (dueling pianist extraordinaire) and Lauren Paris (most recently seen in a critically acclaimed performance as Percy in THE SPITFIRE GRILL, Refuge Theatre Project) are back with another round of Chi-Town Sings, after their sold-out performances of CHI-TOWN SINGS SARA BAREILLES and CHI-TOWN SINGS DEMI LOVATO. CHI-TOWN SINGS LADY GAGA will be performed at 8PM on March 4th at The Den Theatre. Previously, the series occupied the beloved 100 seat Haven Cabaret space, but have been upgraded to a 300 seat venue: The Heath. An anonymous producer has also signed on to the project.

Michael Menendian, co-Artistic Director of Raven Theatre and co-author (with John Weagly) of the script, has announced Rachel Edwards Harvith will direct Raven's dramatization with music of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's only Sherlock Holmes mystery set around the holidays. The play, based on Conan Doyle's 'The Adventure of the Blue Carbuncle', follows Holmes' investigation into the disappearance of a precious gem owned by a countess and its reappearance in the cooked holiday goose of an ordinary Londoner.

Porchlight Music Theatre and Artistic Director Michael Weber present the next production in the second season of Chicago's hit 'lost' musicals in staged concert series, Porchlight Revisits... City of Angels, featuring book by Larry Gelbart (A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, M*A*S*H), music by Cy Coleman (Sweet Charity, Barnum) and lyrics by David Zippel (The Goodbye Girl, Disney's Mulan) with direction by Christopher Pazdernik and music direction by Aaron Benham.
