Zoetic Stage and the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County will present SIDE BY SIDE BY SONDHEIM, a riveting celebration of the work of legendary composer and lyricist Stephen Sondheim. Playing from March 17 through April 10 in the Arsht Center's intimate Carnival Studio Theater, SIDE BY SIDE BY SONDHEIM is a perfect introduction to the work of a contemporary master and a must for die-hard fans.

Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street is a cult classic. People who love this musical don't just love the musical, they LOVE the musical. I, myself, have had a long time love affair with Sondheim's work. Stephen Sondheim has changed the American musical forever. As I sat in the audience on opening night of Zoetic Stage's Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street at the Arsht Center, a show I have seen many times, I threw the proverbial gauntlet at the director, Stuart Meltzer. I thought to myself, show me something I haven't seen before.

The Syracuse Stage and Syracuse University (SU) Department of Drama Holiday production is an annual tradition for many Central New Yorkers. This year, the family friendly holiday show Elf the Musical is the perfect start to the Holiday season. The production features fabulous SU drama students, local child performers, and accomplished equity actors. MAMMA MIA! is hard not to love, which is likely why both the stage show and film were such mega hits, the former spawning a 'jukebox musical' wave of Broadway.

Twist, a new adaptation of Charles Dickens' Oliver Twist, will be presented as a staged reading on October 13th, 2017 at New Ripley Grier Studios in New York.

When you see the play Travesties, it will probably make you feel like your brain haywired a bit. Don't worry, though, that's supposed to happen.
