PREFORMANCES WITH ALLISON CHARNEY first evening concert of the 2017-18 season will feature preeminent musicians Kajsa William-Olsson, Elizabeth Mann, Donna Weng and the ARK trio (soprano Allison Charney, cellist Kajsa William-Olsson, pianist Reiko Uchida) in exclusive preview preformances - anticipating their upcoming appearances on the world's most prestigious stages. The November 27th concert program taking place at 7:30 pm at Merkin Concert Hall at Kaufman Music Center will present works by master composers of the 20th century - Czech composer Bohuslav Jan Martin? and Russian composer Sergei Sergeyevich Prokofiev as well as new classical works by American contemporary composer Michael Ching.

In collaboration with The Yard for the second year in a row, H.O.W. Journal invites you to Twigs, Trees, and Trailblazers, a festive benefit fundraiser event and celebration of HOW Journal's Issue 13. H.O.W. Journal was founded in 2006 and is an art and literary journal that publishes an eclectic mix of fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and visual art of prominent and upcoming writers with an effort to raise money for needy children throughout the world. This year, H.O.W. Journal marries dance with literature and honors fearless women throughout history. The event includes dance pieces by Alison Manning and Jesse Keller Jason´s company, DanceTheYard, and readings by acclaimed writers Daphne Merkin, Amy Kurzweil, Victoria Redel, John Reed, and Tiphanie Yanique.
Fulton Theatre Begins SINGIN' IN THE RAIN Tonight
For the first time in its history the Fulton Theatre will make it rain on stage, in a dazzling stage effect that will bring the beloved MGM film Singin' in the Rain to life in downtown Lancaster. The Fulton's artistic director Marc Robin directs and choreographs. 'I have directed this show six times before but I have never had the opportunity to produce it exactly as I wanted, for various reasons. I am so excited because for the first time I have the ability to spread the rain effect over the entire stage, not to mention having the absolute best cast a director could ask for.'
