Is anything really what it seems to be? Odyssey Theatre Ensemble presents a politically charged and emotionally urgent new play by acclaimed Chilean playwright Guillermo Calderon. Bart DeLorenzo directs the West Coast premiere of Kiss for an April 29 opening at the Odyssey Theatre.

A new play by Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning playwright Robert Schenkkan (The Kentucky Cycle, All the Way, Hacksaw Ridge), written in direct response to the immigration policies of the Trump administration, reveals how those policies might lead to a terrifying, seemingly inconceivable, yet inevitable conclusion.Building the Wall opens at the Fountain Theatre onMarch 18, the first in a series of productions set to take place at theaters across the U.S. as part of a National New Play Network Rolling World Premiere.

Actors Co-op (Ovation Award-Winner 2014 Best Intimate Theatre Musical for 110 in the Shade) presents the third show in its celebratory 25th Silver Anniversary season with the Los Angeles intimate theatre premiere of 33 VARIATIONS by Moisés Kaufman, choreography by Michelle Parrish and directed by Thomas James O'Leary (Next to Normal).  33 VARIATIONS will preview on Thursday, February 9 at 8pm and will open on Friday, February 10 at 8pm and run through Sunday, March 19 at the Actors Co-op David Schall Theatre, 1760 N. Gower St. (on the campus of the First Presbyterian Church of Hollywood) in Hollywood.

Orlando Shakespeare Theater in Partnership with UCF presents PETER AND THE STARCATCHER now through January 3, 2016 at the Lowndes Shakespeare Center. Based on the novel by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson, the musical play is a wildly theatrical and innovative retelling of how a nameless orphan came to be The Boy Who Never Grew Up. Benedict Cumberbatch will play the title role in Lyndsey Turner's production of William Shakespeare's Hamlet, produced by Sonia Friedman Productions and presented by theBarbican. Today, 20 February 2015, it is announced that Hamlet will be broadcast to cinemas around the world on Thursday 15 October 2015 as part of National Theatre Live.
