Today, January 21, is Big Hug Day and Broadway casts, crews and fans alike united for a big hug in Times Square. The group hug took place at noon at the Red Steps / Father Duffy Statue in Times Square.

Get your heart pumping just in time for Valentine's Day as The Chicago League of Lady Arm Wrestlers (CLLAW) presents CLLAW XXIX: CLLAWentine's Day Brawl on Saturday, February 3 at Logan Square Auditorium, 2539 N. Kedzie Ave. in Chicago. CLLAW's 29th benefit match will feature Chicago's biggest, baddest lady-identified arm wrestlers, live musical entertainment and a cash bar. Doors open at 9 pm with the first match beginning at 9:30 pm. Tickets, priced at $20, are available in advance at www.cllaw.org or $25 at the door (the ladies will gladly take cash or credit at the door).

The William Andrews Clark Memorial Library is located in the historic West Adams District of Los Angeles and houses the pre-eminent collection of Oscar Wilde materials in the world, including a typed copy of "Lady Windermere's Fan" with Wilde's handwritten notes from 1892, the year this comedy of manners was first produced. Thus it is the perfect site for Wilde's brilliant examination of status, family values, gossip and loyalty, presented by Chalk Rep..

Lady Day at Emerson's Bar & Grill, the musical play which stars record breaking Tony Award-winner Audra McDonald as jazz legend Billie Holiday, just played it's 100th performance yesterday, July 2, 2014. The most honored female performer of the 2013-2014 season, Ms. McDonald was also the recipient of the Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards. The Chicago League of Lady Arm Wrestlers are flexing their forearms once again at CLLAW XV on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at their super colossal new venue, the Logan Square Auditorium, 2539 N. Kedzie Ave. in Chicago. Brought to you by Sideshow Theatre Company, CLLAW's 15th match will feature fearsome lady arm wrestlers decked out in over-the-top outfits, an open bar, shady referees and audience participation all wrapped into one wild, crazy, theatrical event.
