Moon Dog Theatre's production of John Logan's 'Red' in Rockford, Illinois, is the latest collaboration between actors David Weber and Nick Barelli. The two first met in Chicago in 2013 when Barelli was an undergraduate at the University of Illinois (UIC), and David was a recent graduate.

On Monday, October 28, 2013, Sing for Hope will hold its 7th annual gala at Center548 in Manhattan. The gala's theme is 'Art for All,' in reflection of Sing for Hope's arts outreach programs that democratize the arts and ignite the spark of creative innovation in all people. Cocktails begin promptly at 6:30 p.m., with dinner and the program beginning at 7:30 p.m. The event is chaired by ANN ZIFF (Sing for Hope Board Member, Chair of the Metropolitan Opera, and Vice-Chair of the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts) and will honor HAMDI ULUKAYA, Founder and CEO of Chobani, Inc., America's #1 selling yogurt brand. The Glimmerglass Festival's theater was filled Saturday night with the light sound of dancers' footsteps, the melodic voices of children and the practiced tones of adult soloists, at the premiere of Passions. This double bill is comprised of late period baroque composer Pergolesi's Stabat Mater and the Pulitzer Prize-winning the little match girl passion by David Lang. On Saturday, July 6 at 8:30pm, preceding the sold out Liza Minnelli performance at the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center, Neal & Cynthia Hochman were presented with the WHBPAC's 2013 Visionary Award. The WHBPAC Visionary Award is presented to outstanding individuals whose passion, commitment, leadership and wisdom have made a significant impact on the Center. Chairman of the Board Thomas B. Gloucester Stage kicks off the 2013 season with Steven Sater and Duncan Sheik's Spring Awakening from June 20 through July 14 in the air-conditioned comfort of Gloucester Stage Company at 267 East Main Street, Gloucester, MA. Spring Awakening is directed by Gloucester Stage Artistic Director Eric C. Engel with musical direction by Catherine Stornetta and choreography by Jodi Leigh Allen. On March 3, 2013, Epic Theatre Ensemble held their Annual Gala, Remix: Mix It Up With Epic. The event was held at the McKittrick Hotel, home of Sleep No More. This year's honoree was Tony Award-Winning actor Richard Easton. Highlights of the evening included performances from high school students in Epic's Shakespeare Remix program (winner of the the 2009 National Arts & Humanities Youth Program Award); the live fundraising auction with celebrity auctioneer Gordon Elliottand the funny and heartfelt tribute to Easton by Ethan Hawke and Aaron Krohn (currently appearing together Off-Broadway in Clive).

The Dance Theatre of Harlem (DTH) held its Vision 2013 Gala honoring actress/singer Vanessa L. Williams on February 26th at the Mandarin Hotel in New York City. The Vision Gala raised $585,000 and the proceeds will benefit the Next Generation Fund and the Community Engagement Fund. BroadwayWorld has photos of the starry gathering below!

Billy Elliot the Musical, now in its eighth year, will release a further 640,000 tickets this week, taking booking at the Victoria Palace Theatre to 21 December 2013. Check out the production photographs below.
