Recently honored with a 2017 Equity Joseph Jefferson Award for Best Solo Performance, celebrated Chicago actress Linda Reiter reprises her role as matriarch Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy in this intimate piece directed by Steve Scott. ROSE will play January 12 March 11, 2018 at the Greenhouse Theater Center (Downstairs Main Stage), 2257 N. Lincoln Ave. in Chicago. Mad Cow Theatre is delighted to announce the cast and creative team for the poignant comic drama The Big Meal, which will take the stage Aug 5, 2016 as the ninth production of Mad Cow Theatre's Season 19. Originally scheduled to be produced on the Harriett stage at Mad Cow, The Big Meal will be presented on the more intimate Zehngebot-Stonerock stage as a result of the extension of Mad Cow's popular Avenue Q.
Westport Country Playhouse will open its 2014 Season with Noel Coward's witty and poignant tale, 'A Song at Twilight,' directed by Playhouse artistic director Mark Lamos, tonight, April 29 - May 17, a co-production with Hartford Stage where it ran earlier this year. High school seniors of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA) got the graduation ceremony of their dreams on Saturday, May 18, when Disney Theatrical Group President Thomas Schumacher delivered their commencement address, and the diplomas were presented by 'Mary Poppins' herself: UNCSA alumna Rachel Wallace. Mad Cow Theatre has announced an addition to our 2012-2013 season. The previously announced production of Jon Robin Baitz's Other Desert Cities has been replaced by Athol Fugard's The Road to Mecca. The Road to Mecca, Fugard's Tony Award winning play about an expressive, inspirational South African artist - and the forces that wish to quiet her and celebrate her - opens tonight, October 26 in Mad Cow's new Black Box theatre.
