As part of its 2012-2013 producing Season, HERE presents You Are Dead. You Are Here. Together, playwright Christine Evans, director Joseph Megel and media designer Jared Mezzocchi have formed Transit Lounge, and You Are Dead. You Are Here. marks the company's debut production. This world premiere plays a limited engagement tonight, June 5-22, with Official Opening Night on Sunday, June 9 at 8:30PM at HERE (145 Sixth Avenue, just below Spring Street). From 1964-68, Famed photographer Ansel Adams spent time at the University of California on a groundbreaking photographic project commissioned by UC President Clark Kerr. At its core the project, entitled Fiat Lux (Let There Be Light, the University of California motto) asked Adams to answer the question "How can we imagine our future?" Over the course of the project, Adams took thousands of photos of the entire UC system, culminating in a published book written by Nancy Newhall in 1967, which was revisited in a full-year, campuswide multimedia exploration of Adams' work this year called On the Same Page.

In the Rise and Fall of a Teenage Cyberqueen, a new play by Lindsay Joy Murphy, everyone in a small town is searching for something online. Love. Sex. Popularity. What they don't realize is the internet is a masquerade. Video cams play tricks with your eyes. Online chat rooms strip away anonymity. Self-deception is disguised as the truth. Inevitably, cyberspace exacts a price when people are no longer able to hide.

Primary Stages (Casey Childs, Founder & Executive Producer; Andrew Leynse, Artistic Director; Elliot Fox, Managing Director), in association with Ted Snowdon, launches its 26th season the New York premiere of Secrets of the Trade by Jonathan Tolins. With direction by Matt Shakman, the five-member cast features Amy Aquino as Joanne Lipman, Bill Brochtrup as Bradley, John Glover as Martin Kerner, Mark Nelson as Peter Lipman and Noah Robbins as Andrew Lipman. Primary Stages concludes its 25th anniversary season of new works celebrating the female playwright with the New York premiere of Happy Now? by Lucinda Coxon. With direction by Liz Diamond, the seven-member cast features Kate Arrington as Bea, Kelly AuCoin as Johnny, Mary Bacon as Kitty, Brian Keane as Carl, Joan MacIntosh as June, Quentin Mare as Miles and CJ Wilson as Michael. Performances began January 26, 2010 for a limited run through Saturday, March 6, 2010 at Primary Stages at 59E59 Theaters. Opening night is Tuesday, February 9, 2010.
