Kathryn Stockett (best-selling author of The Help), and Jonathan Schorsch participated in a special post-performance talkback series next month at Driving Miss Daisy. As previously announced, the series, celebrating Black History Month, will feature talkbacks after all Wednesday evening performances throughout the month of February.

Driving Miss Daisy's talkback series continued last night, when former United States congressman and frequent 'Morning Joe' contributor Harold Ford Jr. and NYU professor Jennifer Morgan took the stage at the Golden Theatre (252 West 45 Street) for a post-performance discussion immediately following the evening performance. Driving Miss Daisy producer Jed Bernstein moderated the conversation.

In honor of the show's 100th Broadway performance last night, February 10, original Driving Miss Daisy star Morgan Freeman took in a production of the current Broadway show starring James Earl Jones. The pair, along with playwright Alfred Uhry, met backstage following the performance and BroadwayWorld was on hand for the photo op!

Driving Miss Daisy stars Vanessa Redgrave and Boyd Gaines, along with playwright Alfred Uhry and director David Esbjornson surprised co-star James Earl Jones onstage with an 80th birthday celebration yesterday, January 17. The celebration was followed by a post-performance talk-back for Martin Luther King Day with Uhry and Esbjornson, moderated by Driving Miss Daisy producer Jed Bernstein.
