THE ELEPHANT MAN opened month at the Booth Theatre (222 W 45th St), starring two-time Academy Award nominee Bradley Cooper, Academy Award nominee Patricia Clarkson and Alessandro Nivola. Vital Theatre Company has announced the return of past Vital favorite A (Tooth) Fairy Tale, opening March 16, 2013 at the McGinn/Cazale Theatre at 2162 Broadway at W 76th St. The show features book by author Ben Winters (Uncle Pirate [musical]; The Last Policeman; Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters [novels]), music and lyrics by Rick Hip-Flores (My New York), and direction by Linda Ames Key. Vital Theatre Company has announced the return of THE BULLY, with music and lyrics by John Gregor, book by David L. Williams, and directed by Linda Ames Key.

Jonathan Church's new production of Singin' in the Rain is to transfer to the Palace Theatre following its critically acclaimed, sell-out run at Chichester Festival Theatre.

Executive Producer Lou Spisto today announced the complete cast and creative team for Tracy Letts' award-winning play, August: Osage County. Directed by Obie Award winner Sam Gold, the dark comedy will run in the Old Globe Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center, May 7 - June 12. Preview performances run May 7 - May 11. Opening night is Thursday, May 12 at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are currently available by subscription only. Drury Lane Theatre continues their acclaimed 'Year of the Director' by presenting a never-before-seen new version of the Tony Award-winning musical masterpiece SEVEN BRIDES FOR SEVEN BROTHERS, directed by Bill Jenkins, Chair of Ball State University's Department of Theatre and Dance. Featuring an all-star cast led by Steve Blanchard as 'Adam' (who played 'The Beast' for eight years in Disney's Beauty and the Beast on Broadway, 'Pa Ingalls' in the National Tour of Little House on the Prairie, and 'Lancelot' in the National Tour of Camelot) and Abby Mueller as 'Milly' (who played 'Meg' in Marriott Theatre's Little Women and 'Constance' in Chicago Shakespeare's The Three Musketeers), SEVEN BRIDES FOR SEVEN BROTHERS opens October 20 and runs through December 19 at Drury Lane Theatre, 100 Drury Lane, Oakbrook Terrace, IL. Tickets are already selling briskly.

The Kite Runner, directed by David Ira Goldstein, plays in Tucson at the Temple of Music and Art from September 10 through October 3. It continues its run in Phoenix at the Herberger Theater Center from October 8 through October 25.
