Westport Country Playhouse commemorates the centennial year of playwright Arthur Miller (1915-2005) with one of his last works, BROKEN GLASS, helmed by Playhouse artistic director Mark Lamos, playing now through October 24. Set in 1938 Brooklyn at the time of Nazi Germany's Kristallnacht (The Night of Broken Glass), the powerful drama incites a dangerous game of concealment, suspicion, and lies. FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY presents a special concert engagement of television and film star Tamara Tunie as part of the Fall 2012 Season. After she participated in a well-received concert at Jazz at Lincoln Center in May, performing the music of Cy Colman opposite such luminaries as James Naughton and Michele Lee, Tamara was inspired to return to singing. Tamara has been singing her entire life, including early appearances at Upstairs at Greenstreet and Steve McGraw's early in her career, before film and TV took over. After making it big in movies and TV and then bringing home a Tony Award as a producer for Spring Awakening on Broadway, many people forgot or never knew that her roots were in musical theatre. She is often asked, 'Do you sing?' She is answering that question with this evening of re -imagined show tunes and jazz standards entitled 'Yes, I Sing!' The show will feature Musical Direction by Mike Renzi, acclaimed for his work with Peggy Lee, Lena Horne, Mel Torme, Blossom Dearie and more. Her engagement - which coincides with the release of her new film, Flight, opposite Denzel Washington - will be run for one week only, through November 3.

Last night, August 16, The Broadway Boys took the stage at Birdland. Featuring regulars Jesse Nager (Mary Poppins), Michael James Scott (Jersey Boys), Mykal Kilgore (Hair), Danny Calvert (Altar Boyz), Gabe Violett (Spring Awakening), and Zak Resnick (Dogfight), the concert also showcased special guest Natalie Weiss from Wicked.

Previews are now underway at Playwrights Horizons (Tim Sanford, Artistic Director; Leslie Marcus, Managing Director) for the New York premiere of Our House, a new play by Pulitzer Prize finalist Theresa Rebeck (The Butterfly Collection and Bad Dates at Playwrights Horizons, Broadway's Mauritius, co-author of Omnium Gatherum). A scathing new comedy that shakes up Reality TV, Our House is the final production of the theater company's 2008/2009 Season.

On Monday March 23, Dog Sees God hosted the cast of the touring company of Spring Awakening, currently performing in Toronto.

Broadway Artists Alliance, the dynamic not-for-profit educational organization that is quickly gaining a reputation for ensuring the future of great Broadway talent by bringing together Broadway artists and promising young performers, presented their annual Winter Musical Theatre Workshop February 14th through 16th.
