Jessica Chastain is making her return to Broadway in A Doll's House, which is now running at the Hudson Theatre. To celebrate, we're flashing back to her Broadway debut in 2012. In this video, check out scenes from The Heiress, which also starred Dan Stevens, Judith Ivey, and David Strathairn.

Today we rewind to 2012 for the fourth Broadway revival of The Heiress. Written by Ruth Goetz and Augustus Goetz, it played for 117 performances at the Walter Kerr Theatre, led by Jessica Chastain and Dan Stevens in their Broadway debuts.

James asks his guests Kristin Chenoweth and Cobie Smulders about their beginnings in New York City - pointing out their first apartments were both were strangers, sleeping on a bunk bed. And Kristin makes sure James understand her apartment had the Clapper - the light switch device - and not another version of the clap.

Barrington Stage Company (BSC), the award-winning theatre in the Berkshires under the leadership of Artistic Director Julianne Boyd, presents Tennessee Williams' The Glass Menagerie. Previews for The Glass Menagerie begin October 3, with an official opening on October 7 and performances through October 21 on the Boyd-Quinson Mainstage (30 Union Street).

Roundabout Theatre Company's production of Machinal, starring Rebecca Hall, written by Sophie Treadwell and directed by Lyndsey Turner, began previews on December 20, 2013 ahead of an official opening on January 16, 2014 at the American Airlines Theatre on Broadway. The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.), presents Tennessee Williams' The Glass Menagerie in February 2013, to be directed by Tony Award-winning director John Tiffany. Multiple Tony and Emmy Award winner Cherry Jones returns to the A.R.T. to play Amanda Wingfield, and will be joined by Zachary Quinto as Tom, Celia Keenan-Bolger as Laura, and Brian J. Smith as the Gentleman Caller. The Tony Award-winning design team includes set and costumes by Bob Crowley, lighting by Natasha Katz, and sound by Clive Goodwin.
