Grammy award and Tony award nominee Michael McElroy and Broadway Inspirational Voices (BIV) are gearing up for their second holiday album 'Great Joy II: Around the World'. They are kicking off their fundraising with a Kickstarter campaign, running from May 15th through June 15th. BIV members and friends from the Broadway community who have supported in the campaign include BIV board president Phylicia Rashad, Mario Cantone, Lin Mañuel Miranda, Stephanie J. The cast of The Book Of Mormon talk to the cameras on the red carpet. They dominated the musical categories winning four Awards including Best New Musical, Best Actor in a Musical for Gavin Creel, Best Performance in a Supporting Role in a Musical for Stephen Ashfield and Best Theatre Choreographer for Casey Nicholaw.

In a fun rendition of their opening song, the US touring cast of The Book of Mormon welcomed the London company with open arms. The cast said 'Hello!' to their newly extended family; 'From our family to yours -- have a Happy Opening! Wishing you a long a successful run! Break a leg!' said the blurb below the video.

Following the success of the first "Get Out the Vote" event on October 14th, Broadway for Obama founders (and Broadway siblings) Celia Keenan-Bolger (Peter and the Starcatcher) and Andrew Keenan-Bolger (Newsies) in association with Women For Obama have announced another "Broadway Gets Out the Vote" Phone Bank, to be held on Monday, October 29, from 6:30pm - 9:30pm at the offices of Telsey + Company (311 West 43rd Street, 10th Floor).

The National Tour of THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, is currently playing a strictly limited 12-week engagement from now through November 25, 2012 at the Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles. The company just gave a special performance for The Actors Fund on October 10, and in the video below, Gavin Creel and Jared Gertner give a great curtain speech and shared stories about how The Fund helped their colleagues in the industry when they were in need. The West Coast Premiere of THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, officially opened September 12 at the Pantages Theatre in Hollywood. Broadway World TV's Los Angeles Correspondent and Co-Producer Michael Sterling and Co-Producer Jerry Evans of JLE Media, Inc. were on hand for the red carpet festivities which included such celebrities as Jason Alexander, Rosanna Arquette, Simon Baker, Eric Balfour, Justin Bartha, Beth Behrs, Juie Bowen, Cher, Don Cheadle, Viola Davis, Heather Graham, Laura Dern, Jonathan Groff, Daryl Hannah, Kathy Griffin, Marica Gay Harden, John Hawkes, Lisa Kudrow, Diane Ladd, Tobey Maquire, Bill Maher, Garry Marshall, Julia Ormand, Dermot Mulroney, Carl Reiner, Parker Posey, Jane Seymour, and Alicia Silverstone. Trey Parker, Robert Lopez and Matt Stone were also in attendance. The much anticipated run of THE BOOK OF MORMON will continue through November 25, 2012.

The First National Tour of THE BOOK OF MORMON launches in Denver tomorrow, August 14-September 2 at The Ellie Caulkins Opera House.
