The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel will present The John Pizzarelli Quartet with special guest, Bucky Pizzarelli, for an exclusive two-week engagement at the legendary Cafe Carlyle. Beginning Tuesday, April 9th and playing through Saturday, April 20th, Mr. Pizzarelli and the Quartet will present their newest program, "An Evening with The John Pizzarelli Quartet featuring Bucky Pizzarelli".

Dubbed as good as it gets in any entertainment medium' by Stephen Holden of the New York Times, Mr. Pizzarelli and Ms. Molaskey will play a month-long engagement through November 24th. You know that saying that 'two is better than one?' Well it couldn't have been a more enjoyably appropriate description than the swingin'-est concert to hit Costa Mesa's Segerstrom Center for the Arts in some time: the double-bill of jazz powerhouses Jane Monheit and John Pizzarelli. The two talented stars--each accompanied by their own incredible traveling bands--played to an almost-packed house this past Friday, October 5 as the rousing season opener for the 2012-2013 Cabaret Series at the Center.

Last night, May 29, the John Pizzarelli Quartet and special guest Bucky Pizzarelli visited Cafe Carlyle, where they will play through June 8. Performances take place Tues-Fri at 8:45 p.m. & Saturday at 8:45 p.m. & 10:45 p.m. Cover Tues-Thurs: $90 per person ($50 bar seating; $135 premium seating); Cover Fri-Sat: $100 per person ($50 bar seating; $135 premium seating).

At the 2:30pm show, Pizzarelli will be joined by his wife, Broadway actress Jessica Molaskey, to present their acclaimed Cafe Carlyle show When Worlds Collide, a portrait of their marriage. At 5pm, Pizzarelli and his quartet will present his award-winning Duke Ellington tribute Rockin' in Rhythm. The concerts take place in the historic Venetian Room of The Fairmont San Francisco (950 Mason Street) Sunday, February 26, 2012. This year is no exception as this popular jazz picnic pays tribute to recent New Jersey Hall of Fame inductees Count Basie and Les Paul, plus Django Reinhart and Woody Herman. Jazzfest will take place on the campus of Drew University in Madison, New Jersey on Saturday, June 5th from Noon to 10:00 p.m. with a free concert on Friday evening, June 4th.
