Cabaret patroness Madame Mathieu has selected Natalie Charle Ellis (School of Rock, Les Miserables), and F. Michael Haynie (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Wicked) as guests of honor at the January 18th edition of the Bistro Awards Critics' Pick Madame Mathieu's Soiree. The duo will perform alongside a distinguished group of artists from a variety of disciplines in the first edition of Season 3 of the show. The winners of the first ever Denovan Residencies, the most comprehensive development grants in New York cabaret, will be announced at the event.

An invitation-only sneak peak of TILL SOON, ANNE (book and lyrics by Christine Toy Johnson, music by Bobby Cronin) will take place as part of the Dramatists Guild's 'Today Night Footlights' series on January 5, 2018 in New York City. Johnson and Cronin, along with Wade McCollum (ERNEST SHACKLETON LOVES YOU), Jaygee Macapugay (SCHOOL OF ROCK), Devin Ilaw (MISS SAIGON), Lauren Elder (SIDE SHOW), Cat Brindisi (THE PASSAGE) and David Darrow (book/music/lyrics writer of THE PASSAGE) will be singing songs from the show with William Demaniow at the piano and David Darrow on guitar.

FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Alice Ripley, Emily Skinner, Josh Young, Emily Padgett, Nick Adams, The Skivvies and many more in a concert of Elegies For Angels, Punks And Raging Queens on Thursday, January 18 at 7:00 and 9:30. With book and lyrics by Bill Russell, who will also host and music by Janet Hood, who will serve as Musical Director, Elegies ... was inspired by personal stories of those affected by HIV/AIDS and has been performed around the world. The score features such songs as My Brother Lived in San Francisco, And the Rain Keeps Falling Down and Learning To Let Go.

Cutting Ball Theater's 2017-18 Season continues next year with THE CUTTING BALL VARIETY PACK, a two-week festival featuring four short, fully staged experimental works, readings of two brand new plays by New York-based playwrights, and more. In the spirit of the Holidays, Broadway's Babies has joined forces with Macy's Department store to create an opportunity for students at Urban Assembly High School, a low-income school in Harlem, to sing Christmas Carols with Broadway performers.
